Our Philosophy

Buy once, buy right — so you never have to.

Most people who want to start a podcast get stopped by the same maths: a proper camera, a real microphone, lighting, a mixer, lenses — thousands of pounds of equipment, plus the months it takes to learn it all. We made that spend so you don't have to.

Every piece of gear in this studio was chosen for one job: making conversations look and sound broadcast-grade with zero effort from the people in the chairs. It's all set up, tested and rolling before you arrive — and it's all included in the hire price, whichever package you book.

FAQs

Equipment questions.

Do I pay extra to use the equipment?

No. Every camera, microphone, lens and light listed on this page is included in the standard hire price — from £69.99 per hour +VAT. The only equipment add-ons are the third camera (£20/hr) and the Neewer X11 teleprompter (£25/hr).

What cameras does the studio use?

Two Sony A7C II full-frame cameras recording in 4K come as standard, with a Sony a6700 available as a third angle for £20 per hour. Lenses range from a 35mm f/1.4 prime to 24-70mm and 16-55mm f/2.8 zooms.

What microphones will I be using?

Each of the four seats has a RØDE PodMic — a broadcast dynamic microphone built for podcast speech — on a RØDE boom arm. Two Shure SM7Bs, the microphone behind many of the world's biggest podcasts, are also available on request, with floor stands for flexible setups.

What is the RØDECaster Pro II and why does it matter?

It's the audio production studio every microphone runs through. It applies broadcast processing live, records each voice to its own separate track, and lets us dial remote guests into your session — it's the reason the audio sounds finished before editing even starts.

Do I need to know how to use any of this?

No. Everything is set up, framed and tested before you arrive. With dry hire you just press record; with Studio + Professional an engineer operates it all for you.

Can I bring my own equipment?

You're welcome to — the RØDECaster Pro II takes standard XLR microphones, and if you have a preferred mic or instrument, bring it along. Most guests find the in-house kit covers everything.

How do I get my files after recording?

You leave with the raw 4K video and multitrack audio from your session — yours to keep. Storage is free for 48 hours, then £30 per episode for up to 2 months.

Is the lighting adjustable for my brand?

Yes — the RGB accent lights can be tuned to your brand colours, the TV screen carries your artwork and the backgrounds are customisable, so your episodes look like your show.

Gear this good shouldn't sit idle.

Book a session and put it to work — or come and see it first.
