Editing is the least glamorous part of podcasting and the most abandoned. It takes most creators three to five hours to edit a single hour of conversation — trimming tangents, fixing levels, syncing cameras, cutting clips — and it's exactly where weekly shows quietly become monthly, then stop.
Our podcast editing service in Manchester takes the whole job off your plate. Episodes come back cut, cleaned and consistent: dead air and false starts removed, every voice balanced, cameras synced and colour graded, intros and outros in place. On the bigger packages we also cut vertical reels with captions — the clips that actually bring new listeners in from TikTok, Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn.

How much does podcast editing cost in Manchester?
Our packages are per episode, +VAT: Standard is £75 (up to 60 minutes), Advanced is £130 and Premium is £175 (both up to 90 minutes). Bundle clients get 15–25% off editing.
What's included in each editing package?
Standard covers basic cuts, audio syncing, basic colour correction and 2 revisions. Advanced adds trimming, audio enhancement, an intro and outro, colour grading and 1 vertical reel. Premium includes everything in Advanced plus 3 reels, a show highlight, captions and 3 revisions.
Do you edit both audio and video podcasts?
Yes — the packages cover audio-only shows and full video podcasts. For video episodes that includes syncing the camera angles and colour correction or grading.
Can you edit a podcast I recorded somewhere else?
Get in touch — editing is built around sessions recorded at our studio, where we control the quality of the source files, but we're happy to look at existing recordings and confirm what's possible.
What are the vertical reels?
Short clips cut from your episode, reframed to vertical and captioned, sized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. Advanced includes 1 per episode; Premium includes 3.
Why do the clips need captions?
Most social video is watched with the sound off — captions are the difference between a scroll-past and a view. Premium editing includes captions on every reel.
How many revisions do I get?
2 revisions with Standard and Advanced, 3 with Premium. The episode isn't finished until you've signed it off.
How long can my episode be?
Standard covers episodes up to 60 minutes; Advanced and Premium cover up to 90 minutes. Longer than that? Ask us about a custom package.
How long does editing take?
It depends on the package and episode length — we'll confirm the turnaround when you book, and batch bookings can be scheduled so episodes come back on your publishing schedule.
Is there a discount if I record and edit with you regularly?
Yes — bulk hourly bundles include 15% (Creator), 20% (Series) or 25% (Authority) off editing, on top of reduced studio rates and priority booking.
